Can I pick up my order?
Yes! We offer contactless pick-up from our Home Office on weekdays from 9:00am-5:00pm. Send us an email with your order number in the subject, and let us know when you'd like to pick your order up and we'll have everything ready to go for the desired date and time.
Is your food thawed or frozen?
All our food is flash frozen after being prepped with fresh ingredients. We recommend thawing your portioned meals in the fridge 8-12 hours before feeding. Avoid defrosting food in the microwave, as this process can eliminate many of the beneficial properties associated with feeding raw food.
Can I cook the food?
Do not cook the food. Maximizing nutrition means keeping ingredients as whole and natural as possible. There is also ground-in bone in nearly all of our products, and the cooking process can make them brittle and sharp which can be extremely harmful to your dog.
How much should I feed my dog each day?
One rule of thumb is to feed 2-4% of the pet’s body weight. Smaller dogs will require a higher percentage of their body weight, while larger dogs will require a smaller percentage of their body weight. The daily portion should be split between morning and night.
- a 10 lb. dog will eat about 2 to 2-1/2 lbs. per week or about 10 lbs per month
- a 25 lb. dog will eat about 5 lbs per week or about 20 lbs per month
- a 50 lb. dog will eat about 8 lbs per week or about 32 lbs per month
- a 75 lb. dog will eat about 10-1/2 lbs per week or about 42 lbs per month
- a 100 lb. dog will eat about 13-1/2 lbs per week or about 54 lbs per month

How should I transition my dog to raw food?
If your dog is new to raw food, transition slowly with multiple small meals/day. The complete transition can often be accomplished within a week; however, the key is to go slowly, as you would with any dietary change. Puppies can generally transition over the course of a few days, as they typically have a more flexible digestive systems than senior dogs. The older the dog, the longer you should take to transition to the new raw diet.
To start, we recommend fasting your dog for a half-full day prior to the first meal to ensure a good appetite, and then feed a small portion to start and go from there. If all is well, continue replacing a little bit of the original diet with the new raw diet.
Monitor your pet. If your pet experiences loose stools, wait until the stool is firm to continue the transition.
Can I feed my puppy raw food?
Most certainly! If you have a new puppy and you're wanting to get them started on a raw food diet, don't wait. Start cold turkey with a single protein option and feed 3-4% of their adult body weight (or 5-10% of their current weight) over 3-4 servings/day. Monitor their progress closely and adjust serving size and frequency as needed.
What is your return policy?
Due to the nature of our product being a fresh/frozen food item, we are unable to accept any returns/refunds once a product has left our possession. A returned product must be discarded as we have no way of ensuring the proper storage and handling of the food, therefore all sales are final once a delivery or pick-up has been made. We encourage new customers to accept our complimentary sample offer to try our product risk-free.
